David Richardson

CEO Logson Group

David graduated in engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. He has over 25 years’ experience in the packaging industry having worked in Sales, IT, Project Management, Operations Management, General Management and Sector Director roles within DS Smith Packaging. Most recently David was the UK&I Group Managing Director for VPK Packaging.

David joined Logson Group in September 2022 . David works closely with the rest of the team to nurture the agile, decentralised, autonomous culture that our customers have valued so highly whilst developing the business for the future.

Gerard O’Callaghan

Group Financial Director

A Chartered Accountant, Gerard joined Logson Group in September 2021, having previously held CFO and Group FD positions in the Construction and Manufacturing sectors. He holds a Master’s degree from the prestigious Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in Dublin.

He has a family background in the Corrugated sector having been involved in a non-executive capacity with a family owned sheet conversion plant in Northern Ireland. Gerard brings over 20 years of financial experience, having spent time in both practice, banking and a number of industry sectors.

Gerard works closely with David and the senior management team to continue to build on the strong performance of the group by seeking opportunities for future growth, optimising performance and helping to influence strategic decisions.

Gavin Richardson

CEO Boxes and Packaging

Gavin joined the Logson Group in 2011 from DS Smith Plc, having worked as Group IT Director and previously Managing Director of Tri-Wall Europe.

Gavin brings over 20 years of industry experience, including international roles with Amcor in Germany and France covering both sales and operational disciplines.

Results-driven on a group basis, Gavin is fiercely protective of each site’s autonomy and local focus, ensuring a unique entrepreneurial business culture.

Dominic Drew

Managing Director Board 24

Dominic joined Board24 in January 2021, bringing with him a breath of experience having been in the packaging industry for over 28 years.

Dominic starting out his career as a technical engineer, before moving to an external sales role, leading to Managing Director at Priory Packaging, which later became part of DS Smith. Dominic took on various roles, with ever increasing responsibility. Initially Managing Director of various sheet plants, which then evolved to Sales and Market Development Director in DS Smith Industrial sector, a role in which he managed the sales, commercial pricing, marketing and design of the sheet plants, sheet feeders and heavy-duty sites.

Bob McLellan

Non-Executive Chairman Logson Group

Bob joined Logson Group in April 2011 after retiring as CEO at DS Smith, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise spanning an entire career in the European packaging industry.

Working alongside the Logson Board, Bob fulfils an advisory role, his industry wisdom helping the business develop its ambitious strategies and asset base.

Gareth Stell

Group Sales Director

Gareth joined Logson Group in 2006 and brings over 26 years industry experience, having held senior sales and MD roles, primarily within the UK sheet plant sector.

Gareth’s role covers all businesses with the group and he is instrumental in the development of long-term strategic relationships with our key customers. Personable, driven and unashamedly customer focused, Gareth ensures our business goals are intrinsically aligned to our customers’ success.
